As artificial intelligence has already revolutionized various industries, Apple intends to change the way phones are used with AI-powered features for its iPhone 16.

Apple is set to reveal the iPhone 16, emphasizing the artificial intelligence-infused capabilities of its flagship handset. The smartphone will be equipped with a next-generation chip based on Arm’s newest design architecture, marking the latest step in the Cupertino tech giant’s push to bring generative AI features to its smartphones.
In June, Apple introduced Apple Intelligence, which includes AI-powered capabilities for Safari, Notes, Calculator, and, most significantly, Siri for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.
Among other new capabilities, the integration of AI into Apple’s popular gadgets will enable users to further personalize their home screens, improve the voice assistant’s responses, and even use ChatGPT straight from the device.
Analysts anticipate that the new technology will be among the greatest advancements in operating software that Apple has released in recent years.
Apple’s new iPhone 16 will have 4 models – iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max.
Apple utilizes the A18 chip, with the company embracing SoftBank-owned Arm’s newest V9 chip design in its smartphones. Arm benefits from Apple’s adoption of V9 for the iPhone, which accounts for about half of the company’s entire income. Arm and Apple have a multiyear license arrangement. According to prior statements made by Arm CEO Rene Haas, V9 generates twice as much revenue in royalties as V8.
What’s Improved?
iPhones will have enhanced hardware, run on the latest iOS version with Apple Intelligence. Phones may get a dedicated, pressure-sensitive capture button. As the phones are equipped with AI, the technology is expected to play a big role here, especially in sorting out photos.
All 4 iPhone models will feature freshly minted Apple A18 processors and be capable of handling on-device AI tasks.
