Copilot Chat allows corporate workers to get answers by uploading files and from the web. It also enables them to create and talk to AI agents to perform tasks. The free service is available in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.

Microsoft has announced the roll-out of a new Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat that uses OpenAI’s GPT-4. The free service allows users to create AI agents using natural languages such as English and Mandarin for tasks like writing strategy documents, market research and meeting preparation.
Copilot Chat is a pay-as-you-go plan for corporate customers that bundles together several of the company’s existing AI-enabled productivity features for Microsoft 365. As many companies have adopted the Microsoft 365 Copilot, the introduction of Copilot Chat will democratize generative artificial intelligence software in the workplace.
According to the company’s announcement, Copilot Chat enables the entire workforce, from customer service representatives to marketing leads to frontline technicians, to start using Copilot and agents today.

- Free, secure AI chat powered by GPT-4o
- Agents accessible right in the chat
- IT controls, including enterprise data protection and agent management

Users can access Copilot Chat either free or pay in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, which is available at m365copilot.com or in the Windows, Android, or iPhone app stores.
