The Shambho Accelerator Program will foster innovation in India’s startup sector.

Yotta Data Services, a Digital Transformation service provider, has launched an accelerator program for Cloud and AI startups, named Shambho. The program will provide startups with world-class AI and cloud infrastructure, technological support, mentorship, and more.
The Shambho Accelerator Program, launched with support from NASSCOM AI and Telangana AI Mission, aims to foster innovation in the startup sector. The program also encourages the development of cutting-edge solutions in AI, Cloud, data science, and high-performance computing.
The first startups to gain benefits will be those from Nasscom’s GenAI Foundry. These startups will be awarded credits of up to $200,000 for Shakti Cloud, the fastest AI-HPC supercomputer in India, as part of this program.
Co-founder and CEO, of Yotta Data Services, Sunil Gupta said, “India’s tech-startup ecosystem is a pivotal force propelling the nation towards its ambitious $5 trillion economy goal.” He added, “Anchored by an abundant talent pool and formidable entrepreneurial spirit, our strength is evident. However, the success of GenAI hinges on scalable access to high-performance computing.”
Powered by NVIDIA’s H100 Tensor Core GPUs, Shakti Cloud offers GPU-as-a-service, enabling startups to develop AI products more quickly and efficiently.
“As we witness the evolution of Generative AI, it also opens numerous opportunities for enterprises and startups. Winning in the AI race requires businesses to place the right strategic bets in terms of acquiring the necessary computing infrastructure and identifying the most optimal modes of engagement with stakeholders,” said Sangeeta Gupta, Sr. Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, NASSCOM.
She further added, “Accelerator Programs such as Shambho will not only help augment India’s AI innovation but will also certainly encourage AI startups to develop cutting-edge solutions in Cloud, AI, data science, and high-performance computing.”
This partnership demonstrates Yotta’s commitment to furthering Nasscom’s goal of encouraging creativity in deep tech firms and fits in perfectly with India’s growing reputation as a center for research and development as well as the country’s current AI adoption momentum.
Recently, Yotta and the Government of Telangana also announced a partnership to build a high-performing GPU-based AI Supercomputer.
